2014 NATIONAL FIELDAYS IN REVIEW
Despite the biting cold and blustery rain on the opening days, Fieldays 2014 were a roaring success particularly on the Friday when people flooded through gates by the thousands.
Kerrick offered some serious discounts on a wide range of products this year all of which are valid up until 30 June 2014. So if you couldn't make it to this year’s Fieldays be sure to drop by your local branch and bag a deal before the promotions end.
Kerrick ran a Trivia Quiz to help liven up the Fieldays and we're pleased to announce that the winners of this year’s competition are: Phillip Lowe, Emma Kunac and Carole DryBurgh. Each winner will receive a Yes Play 202 (one of Kerrick’s best selling dry vacuum cleaners).
Marketing Executive, Nikki Shaw, noted there was particular interest in Kerrick’s range of steam cleaners this year with applications ranging from washing down cow sheds and vehicles, to sanitising gear for research programmes. Another particularly popular range were the cold water petrol water blasters a large number of which are fitted with all American Cat pumps and Honda motors and mounted onto steel frames. She said,“These hardy little units have a range of applications and were massively discounted (which is rare for Kerrick) which is why they were flying off the shelves.”
In addition to the above, Kerrick ran live demonstrations of the foaming action of their Rural Fire Suppression Unit . Compact and mobile this unit generated a lot of interest from the rural fire fighting community due to its practicality and the fact it uses 60% less water than standard units.
All in all the Fieldays were a great success and we’d like to thank those involved in making it happen and all those who dropped by our stand and offered their support for both Kerrick and the Fieldays in general. Congratulations again to our competition winners and we look forward to seeing you all again at next year’s event.
