A plumber specialising in residential drain cleaning approached Kerrick with a request for a high pressure drain cleaner that could be fitted into the back of their company van, making the practicalities of getting gear to site more easily manageable.
Kerrick designed a compact, skid mounted drain cleaner that could slide into the back of the van and then get bolted into place. The drain cleaner was designed so that it not only fit into the van but left plenty of room for the other tools of the trade. The unit had a 3000 psi Hawk pump operating at 30 l/min with an electric start Honda motor and a large 450 litre water tank. The drain cleaner also came with twin reels (a high pressure hose and a low pressure feeder hose), gun and lance and a range of nozzles.
The plumbing company is so happy with the functionality of the unit and practical size that they are looking into custom fitting more units to their vans.
