CLEARING FIELD TILES - SOLUTIONS FOR AGRICULTURE
K2 Contracting are professional drainage contracting specialists based of Mataura, South Island. The client came to Kerrick with a request for a skid mounted pressure cleaner with the capacity to deal with heavy duty field tile cleaning associated with the dairy industry.
Kerrick built a galvanized skid mounted field tile cleaner that operates at 2000 psi and 47 l/min. This drain cleaner has a 24HP V Twin Honda motor, an Italian Hawk Pump and hydraulic hose reel. The reel was fitted with 121m of ½” plastic hose. The unit was also equipped with a standard wash down gun.
The client supplied their own 1000l tank, which Kerrick then incorporated into the design and manufacture of their field tile cleaner. The overall build was a success and K2 Contracting is very happy with the cleaning ability of this unit (which can be seen in action in the image below).
