The Kerrick Sports Sedans Series head to Queensland Raceway for round 3.
Queensland Raceway - Ipswich was designed after exhaustive and ongoing consultations with Australia's greatest motorsport heroes. Consideration to speed, safety and passing possibilities as well as spectator viewing have been combined to provide what is to be a benchmark for circuit design into the next century.
Racing direction is clockwise. There are six corners, with four gravel traps, four overtaking areas under brakes. The circuit has a slight rise and fall of around 2m for drainage.
Queensland Raceway is approximately 50 kms west of Brisbane, on the outskirts of Ipswich and close to the Amberley air force base, home of the F-111. It is part of the Ipswich City Council's Ipswich Motorsport Precinct. The precinct is beside the Cunningham Highway, approximately 22km from the Ipswich Motorway.
